Dark blue full-leather binding, intricate design on covers and spine, all-edges gilt, decorative silk moire endpapers, and a matching silk bookmark. This copy was in the original shrink wrap for decades before I opened it and has faint signs of scuffing/spotting where the cardboard pieces were in contact with the boards under the plastic, all gold intact and not flaking, unread and tight.
