Dust jacket conforms to Second Issue Points: Two reviews reprinted on front flap, rear flap titled "Winner of the 1964 Caldecott Award," "The Caldecott Medal" gold foil label on front panel, "$3.95" printed price on upper right corner of front flap, printed code on base of flap "40-80” & “1163.” Lower right corner of front flap is clipped, but we assume that it originally contained the “Net $3.79” often removed by booksellers. Small tears at corners, small closed tear on front panel near base of spine, now in mylar cover. Pictorial cloth boards that duplicate the dust jacket cover art. Light soiling and wear at edges of boards, clean within. Very Good / Good. Item #31464
