An odd inscription with association, with a bookplate on the front pastedown that reads, ...inscribed for "Wesley Court"/Lewis Turco via Roland Young..." and signed by Betjeman on the bookplate. Turco's ownership signature and date of acquisition in ink on first free endpaper. Leiws Turco (1934-2024), a poet, often wrote under the pseudonym "Wesli Court," an anagram of his name.
